Sales Managers: How to Respond to the Coming Stock Market Crash
Yesterday, while most Sales Managers were out helping their sales team get their next sale, the stock market crashed 900 points. For the score keepers out there, this was the greatest single one day crash in history. And although it “recovered” enough to “only” end the day down 347 points, I The Recovery was muffed in Washington.
It just ticks me off that the government is doing such a lousy job at this. Yes, I know this blog is about sales hiring. Sorry. I as a sales professional I think we're being sold a "line of bull
!”
OK. I'm done.
I am not writing this as investment advice. So why am I writing this?
You remember what happened in 2007, right? Would you have been in better shape if you had been warned what was coming? Would having more A-Player salespeople on your team have made it easier?
If you want to save yourself a lot of grief, get busy NOW hiring “A-Player” salespeople for your team.
Only A-Player salespeople can creatively help your clients and prospects. Only A-Player salespeople can overcome prospects tendency to “wait” – when things “lock up” in the economy.
Run an ad now for an A-Player salesperson using our proven Sales Hiring Selection System or any one out there that works.
Ours is online at Sales Hiring E-Course for Sales Managers for just $47.
I said the same thing in 2006 to clients and anyone who would listen.
Those who took the warning seriously and got busy firing their duds and hiring with a sales hiring system did much better after the 2007 crash. OK. I am done. Sorry. Too much coffee.
